The official MoD records show that AEW served at Tregantle Fort from 1920-23 so this must be the case.
Whilst the Fort closed after WW1 it cannot have taken place immediately and must have been active until the early ´20´s, winding down gradually as it were to closure in 2023.
Don´t forget that whilst WW1 ended with the Armistice of November…
