Chamarettes - Enumeration of the extent to which the British Library Baptisms/Marriages/Burials have been exhaustively searched.
Status: Located; There are three areas of India for which Ecclesiastical Returns are available - Madras, Bengal and Bombay. For each of these there are books containing indexes for Baptisms, Marriages and Burials. From the indexes one can go to microfilms where full information is available. In this document I have detailed for which years I have searched the indexes thoroughly (for Chamarettes) and noted the entries. All the information I have found from the indexes is in the family tree on this site. For almost all of the entries I have gone on to obtain the details from the microfilms, and these are also here in the tree.
