He gives the time of birth - 11:20pm! [S7] BMD - British Library, Baptism, N2 vol 70 p174. Have paper copy of baptism certificate, and my photo of the register at St George's Church. [S1] Certificate, Death, FRC 1977 Sep qtr(?) vol 2 p 0069. [S7] BMD - British Library, Marriage, N2 vol 68 folio 327. He was 27, Assistant Surgeon, HH Nizam's Service, she was 22 - quite old. Chadarghat is now Chadherghat (according to St Georges Church) but from other sources it is Chaderghat. It is in the city of Hyderabad. The Rev Henry Fitzpatrick, Minister and Chaplain of St George's Church, performed this marriage. He was the first chaplain, 1875 to 1895. Witnesses Paul G Schaffter, Geo G H Combes,and Tom W P Chamarette. So Thompson WAS known as Tom! [S7] BMD - British Library, Marriage, N2 vol 114 folio 147, entry 11. Have copy of certified marriage document. It was at Methodist Episcopal Church - though Beryl was baptised at St Georges Church. The clergyman there, Rev Henry Fitzpatrick had retired, so perhaps they changed church at that time.
