  [S1] Certificate, Marriage, 1852 Whitechapel, vol 1c p788. They both are resident in the Tower Liberty (which was not in London or Middlesex - hence 'liberty'). But why would they be here is they were both born in Brackley? Her father John was an Innkeeper, his father Robert a Solicitor, Edward a farmer - all very local occupations. However they must have gone to Iowa soon after, since the first child was born there in 1855, so maybe they were on their way.
