  [S36] Other Researchers - Jack Edwards. Lt Col John Edwards enlisted as an ensign in the 80th Staffordshire Foot in 1793. I have a copy of Lt Col John?s will written 1816, the year before he died. He was in Command of the 80th Staffordshire Foot in Madras. I have a photo of his monument in the Cantonment cemetery in Madras. John left everything to his wife, Moodaivalah Coopagee. We do not know if, or when he married her. {Still on the search} However all his children are mentioned in his will. I also have a copy of a letter John wrote to his Mum in 1797 during an engagement against the Dutch in South Africa. [S33] Other Researchers - Kerry Edwards.
