  [S1] Certificate, Death. 67 years old, an army pensioner. Died of Disease of Lungs, 6 months certified. Informant was (mark of) Mary Lindsell widow of deceased - a fourth marriage?! [S1] Certificate, Marriage - ref was vol 12 p 28 Dec Qtr. Neither had been previously married (though William made up for this later!), and both lived in Braintree. He was 24, a fruiterer, she was 19. They both made their mark ie couldn't write, as did one witness, Caroline Lindsell. The other witness, William Cousins, signed.
