      The source gives St Catherine's Church, St Thome, Madras. I can find no St Catherine's Church in modern Chennai, and San Thome is a Basilica. I have arbitrarily chosen that.

      Burial record for Rose Angelina (sic) Plumbe. She died of pneumonia, and was buried in the Roman Catholic cathedral in Lahore. She is simply described as the mother of Louise ? (not easily legible), aged 81.

      He was 27, she was 20 (note that he admitted to 30 when he was baptised). Both resided in Bangalore. Witnesses were Edward Pereira and Samuel Anattuoro (?). In the wedding immediately following this one in the register a witness is an Arthur Moraes.
