I think this information is from Phyllis Chamarette. She gives his name as James, but says he married Lucy Bailey, and had a son James, who had a daughter Una who married Arthur Chamarette. So they must be the same. This matches up with the St George's website and the Chamarette Family Tree compiled by the Australian branch of the family - [S84] Other Researchers - Edith Gosse.
Brigadier Chamarette's son was my Mother's father, this was confirmed by Ali Eledroos whose father was the CinC of the Nizams Army at the same time. Brig. Chamarette was General Eledroos second in command. - [S5] BMD - FindMyPast, p649.
GRO Army Chaplains Birth Indices (1796 to 1880) - Army Returns to England - date is 1830 so not returned until brother John Edward also present in list. - [S7] BMD - British Library, N2 vol 10 p221, Baptism.
He was born 6 months before. Baptised in Secunderabad by Js Boys, Chaplain - it doesn't say of what church - list is return of baptisms in the Archdeaconry of Madras'. - [S7] BMD - British Library, N2 vol 50 p161, Burial.
Died of Cholera aged 42. Was then Head Clerk in the Military Secretaries Office, Hyderabad Residency. Buried by DR G Clarke, Chaplain at Chudderghaut - no church given. - [S25] St Georges Church, Hyderabad Website, Kerry Edwards.

Handwritten document - see notes. His salary a year later was Rs 156-10-11 - no idea if this was good or bad. - [S7] BMD - British Library, N2 vol 33 p 399.
Citation is marriage. He was 26, a batchelor and lived at Bolarum. She was 16 and a 1/2, a spinster, and lived at Hyderabad. Married by Robert Murphy, joint Chaplain - returns are from Cannanore, Calicut and Chudderghat - assume Chaderghat - no church given. Witnesses P Chamarett, J Bayley, P G Charles, and J A Moore.
